Hartsburg-Emden wins the 2026 7th Grade County Volleyball Tournament

[January 15, 2026]  The gymnasium at Carroll Catholic School was the place to be on Wednesday night for local volleyball fans. And the fans sure packed the gym and got their money’s worth!

The Hartsburg-Emden Stags repeated as 7th Grade Logan County Volleyball Champions by defeating the West Lincoln Broadwell Lady Wolverines 28-26, 17-25 and then 19-17 in the third set. That third set was supposed to end at 15, as long as the winner won by a two-point margin. However, these two teams just kept on battling, one nerve-wracking, back and forth point after another until the Stags pulled out the win.
