Workcamp for Lincoln application deadline approaching March 1

[January 15, 2026]  Lincoln, IL — Residents in the Lincoln area who are in need of critical home repairs are encouraged to apply for assistance through Community Action Partnership of Central Illinois’ (CAPCIL) Workcamp for Lincoln project before the upcoming March 1 application deadline.

Workcamp for Lincoln is a volunteer-driven home repair program that brings together adult and youth volunteers to provide free home repairs for elderly, disabled, and low-income homeowners. The program focuses on addressing safety concerns, accessibility needs, and essential exterior and interior repairs that help residents remain safe in their homes.

Homeowners may qualify for Workcamp for Lincoln if they:

• Own home within Logan County.
• Complete required application paperwork.

There is no cost to approved homeowners for the repairs provided. Home repairs for approved applicants will be completed during the week of June 21–27.

Applications must be submitted by March 1. Interested residents can apply online or seek assistance with the application process. If a paper application is needed, applicants are encouraged to reach out so arrangements can be made to ensure everyone who qualifies has access to apply.
