Lady Railers crush Eisenhower 79-17

[January 28, 2026]  The Lincoln Lady Railers dominated their Central State Eight opponent, the Decatur Eisenhower Panthers, on Tuesday night on Neil Alexander Court, winning 79-17.

Mia Clark sank the first three of the game and this was just the beginning of a big night for the senior. Clark would go on to make seven 3s in the game and lead Lincoln with 27 points.

Freshman Grace Bivin scored 15 points for Lincoln.

First quarter
Lincoln ran out to an early 12-0 lead. After the Panthers scored a basket it was all Lincoln the rest of the quarter. Clark hit back-to-back 3s to put Lincoln up 18-2. Lincoln’s two freshmen spark plugs, Paisley Holmes and Grace Bivin, came into the game to provide the rest of the offense. Combining to score three baskets in the lane and a free throw, Holmes and Bivin helped the team to a 25-2 lead. Mesa McCloud also hit a three earlier in the quarter.

Second quarter
Bivin started and finished the scoring in the second quarter for Lincoln. She scored the first bucket in the lane and finished by scoring the last three buckets in the lane before halftime. Emma Hutchison also came off the bench to drain a three. Clark added a three as well. Lily Holmes completed the scoring with a free throw and the Lady Railers were cruising 40-9 at the half.

Third quarter
Six Lady Railers scored in the third quarter and the Lincoln defense continued to hold the Panthers down. McCloud’s two 3s led the scoring here and with the team tallying 23 points Lincoln drove the score to a 50-point lead. The Lady Railers were crushing the Panthers 63-13.

Fourth quarter
Clark dropped in three more 3s in the final quarter as Lincoln continued to dominate. Sage Gilbert scored five points off the bench and Bivin added one more bucket as Lincoln quickly disposed of Eisenhower 79-17.

Lincoln improved to 15-7 overall and 4-2 in the Central State Eight Conference.

The Lincoln JV team picked up a 55-12 win over Eisenhower.

Sage Gilbert led the JV team with 17 points and Elizabeth Chen scored 15 points.

Lincoln will play at Normal U-High on Friday night at 7:00 p.m.

The JV game will tip-off at 5:30 p.m.
