Corn Belt Energy announces
leadership transition

BLOOMINGTON, IL — Tuesday, July
28, 2026 — The Corn Belt Energy Board of Directors has unanimously
selected Ryan Campbell as the cooperative's next President and Chief
Executive Officer, effective August 31, 2026, following the
retirement of current President and CEO Don Taylor.
Taylor retires after 18 years with Corn Belt Energy, including
serving as President and CEO since 2013. Throughout his tenure, he
helped guide the cooperative through significant growth and change
while fostering a culture centered on safety, innovation, financial
responsibility and member service. His leadership leaves Corn Belt
Energy well-positioned for continued success.
"Don's leadership has helped guide Corn Belt Energy through years of
growth and change while keeping our members at the center of every
decision," said Rae F. Payne, Chairman of the Corn Belt Energy Board
of Directors. "On behalf of the Board, employees and members, we
thank Don for his years of dedicated service and wish him the very
best in retirement."
Reflecting on his career and the future of the cooperative, Taylor
expressed confidence in the organization he has helped to lead.

a lot of change in the electric utility world, and I am confident

Campbell brings more than 33 years of experience with Corn Belt
Energy to the role. Throughout his career, he has served in a
variety of operational leadership positions, most recently as Vice
President of Electric Distribution. His extensive knowledge of the
cooperative, dedication to employees, and commitment to member
service make him well-positioned to lead Corn Belt Energy into the
future.

Campbell said he is honored by the opportunity to serve as the
cooperative's next President and CEO.

and communities of Corn Belt Energy in this new role," Campbell
said. "Our cooperative has a strong foundation, and I look
forward to building on that legacy while remaining focused on
our mission of providing safe, reliable and affordable energy to
the people we serve."
Corn Belt Energy's Board of Directors and employees will work
closely with Taylor and Campbell throughout the transition to
ensure continuity of leadership and service.
