An RBI single and a two-run homer put the Vikings up 12-2 in the fifth inning.

Lincoln threatened to score with a lead-off triple by Preslee Sherren in the bottom of the fifth inning. Morgan Sheley’s bunt single forced Sherren to stay at third. Sherren would get thrown out at home after a bunt single by Sage Gilbert. Sheley was also out at home trying to score on Grey Gilbert’s grounder back to the pitcher. The game ended on a strikeout and Lincoln was stuck with the 12-2 final score.
