Bullets blank Railsplitters 2-0

[May 26, 2026]  The Williamsville Bullets shutdown the Lincoln offense on Saturday and defeated the Railsplitters 2-0 at Mike Curry Field.
 
The Railsplitters managed to scatter just three hits over seven innings in the loss.

 

Carson Fuiten started the game for Lincoln and he gave up a run in the first inning on a single and a triple.

The Bullets scored another run in the fifth inning off Grady Rutledge, who gave up an RBI single.

Fuiten took the loss. He threw four innings, giving up four hits and one run. He struck out three batters and walked zero.

Rutledge worked three innings, allowing one hit, one walk and one run. He struck out four batters.

Austin Lucas was 2-for-3 at the plate for Lincoln.

Tate Aue had one hit.

Wyatt Patton and Carson Thomas combined to pitch the shutout for the Bullets. Patton earned the win.

The Railsplitters enter the postseason with a 22-10 record.

Lincoln (no. 4 seed) will play Springfield High School (no. 6 seed) on Thursday at 4 p.m. in the first game of regionals.

Lincoln is hosting the Class 3A regional at Mike Curry Field.
