Mt. Pulaski's Carter Clark going to
State in discus

The last time a male athlete from Mount Pulaski High School went to
State in track and field competition, Covid was not even a thing.
The year was 2019.
On Thursday MPHS junior Carter Clark will compete in the IHSA Class
1A Boys State Track and Field Championships at Eastern Illinois
University in Charleston.
Clark will throw the discus around 1:00 p.m. today.
Clark finished in sixth place with a throw of 142’ 04” last
Wednesday at the IHSA Class 1A TRB Sectional in Maroa.
