Lincolnland Technical Education Center
(LTEC) is proud to recognize Ayden Gesner-Parke, a senior at Lincoln
Community High School (LCHS), as the LTEC October Student of the
Month. Ayden is the son of Candi Gesner.
Currently enrolled in LTEC’s Advanced Metals II program, Ayden has
demonstrated dedication, a strong work ethic, and a positive
attitude in the classroom. His interest in welding and desire to
develop practical skills have motivated him to take advantage of the
hands-on learning opportunities available at LTEC.
“I took this class because LTEC is giving me the opportunity to
learn some skills I will need for my career,” he shared.
His instructor, Mr. Akers, nominated him for the recognition because
of his dependability, respectful attitude, and willingness to go
above and beyond in the classroom.
“He continues to be punctual, polite, and courteous to others. He
does what is asked of him and usually goes above and beyond when
something is needed in the lab. He is a pleasure to have in class!”
said Mr. Akers.
One of the things Ayden appreciates most about LTEC is the support
and guidance he receives from his instructors.
“I like how the teachers will help you or show you how to do
something that you don't understand,” he explained.
After graduation, Ayden plans to pursue a career in welding, putting
the technical skills and experience he has gained at LTEC to work in
the skilled trades industry.

Outside of school, he works at Cracker
Barrel and enjoys spending time with friends.
LTEC congratulates Ayden on being selected as the October Student of
the Month and looks forward to seeing his continued success as he
prepares for a future in welding.
The Rotary Club of Lincoln sponsors LTEC’s Student of the Month
program and presents each recipient with a $50 award in recognition
of their achievements.
