Stags split with Athens
[September 17, 2026]
The Hartsburg-Emden Stags played at Athens on Tuesday,
September 15, 2026 and the two teams split the victories.
The Stags JV team defeated the Warriors 29-27 and 25-20. They
improved their record to 4-1.
Courtney Cecil and Kylee Eads each led the JV team with eight kills.
The Warriors came out on top in the Varsity match 25-14 and 25-13.
The Stags Varsity team fell to 10-5 on the season.
Cambelle Hopkins led the Varsity team with eight kills.

The Stags will host Jacksonville Routt on Thursday, September 17,
2026 for their Homecoming game and it is also Pack the Place Night.
There will be a Walking Taco Bar in the cafeteria from 4:00 p.m.
until 6:00 p.m. for $10.00 a ticket. This event is hosted by the
Class of 2027.
