Early Interest Strong for 2026
DIRTcar Fall Nationals at Lincoln Speedway
Electric camping sites filling quickly as pre-entries
build across all five divisions

LINCOLN, IL (September 23, 2026) – Early interest in the 2026
DIRTcar Fall Nationals at Lincoln Speedway is already strong, with
pre-entries coming in across all five divisions and electric camping
reservations moving at a faster pace than in recent years.
The three-day event is scheduled for Thursday-Saturday, October
15-17, at Lincoln Speedway, located at the Logan County Fairgrounds
in Lincoln, Illinois. The weekend will feature DIRTcar Super Late
Models, Taco Bell DIRTcar Modifieds, DIRTcar Pro Late Models,
DIRTcar Pro Modifieds, and DIRTcar Stock Cars.
Driver registration has only been open for about a week, but entries
are already arriving from throughout Illinois, Indiana, and
Missouri. The early list includes several drivers currently ranked
near the top of their respective DIRTcar national standings, along
with former track champions, veteran competitors, and a number of
first-year racers.
Among the early entries are Pro Late Model national points leader
Braden Johnson, Pro Modified national contenders including Zach
Whaley, Drake Compton, Jake Montgomery, Drew Schwartz, Donnie
Cheesman, and others, plus Modified standouts such as Ray Bollinger,
Brandon Roberts, Austin Friedman, Braiden Keller, and veteran
competitors including Alan Crowder and Mark Voigt.
Camping interest has also been especially strong. Electric hookup
sites at the Logan County Fairgrounds are filling quickly, with only
a small number remaining as of this week. Primitive camping will
also be available for race teams and fans planning to make a full
weekend out of the event. Orders are being taken at 217-764-3200.
The Fall Nationals will begin with open practice on Thursday,
October 15, followed by complete racing programs on both Friday,
October 16, and Saturday, October 17.
Friday night will carry added significance as it also serves as the
Bennett Memorial for the Super Late Models and Modifieds. Both
divisions will race for $50 per lap led in their respective
features, creating the potential for as much as $1,500 in additional
lap money for the Super Late Models and $1,250 for the Modifieds.

Additional Friday night awards have also been
posted for fast qualifier, feature winners, hard chargers, and tough
luck recipients. Bonus support has come from Penske Racing Shocks,
South Shores Auto Service, Milwaukee Tool, Terri and Dan Moore, Deb
Zehnacker, Jamie Taylor, Moore Family Store, Auto Meter, KRT, and
memorial contributions honoring Terry Babb, Russ Anderson, and
Rodney Morey. Milwaukee Tool will also be on hand with three prizes
to be raffled during the evening.
Following Friday night’s racing program, fans, drivers, and teams
are invited to stay for a post-race party behind the grandstands
featuring live music from AllNighter.
Saturday will close out the weekend with another
full racing program for the Fall Nationals divisions, including the
DIRTcar Stock Cars.
With entries continuing to arrive and camping reservations moving
