SIU Center for Family Medicine is designated as a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC). According to Laura Bottom, the Center became an FQHC in April 2017. She said, “This status enables us to offer special programs for low income and uninsured patients. Our clinic goal is to provide the best possible patient care and make you feel our clinic is your personal health home. Our providers will establish an ongoing relationship with you and your family to coordinate care for both wellness and illness.
