The following is a partial list of area women that are involved in the agriculture industry, most are originally from Logan County: Susan Adams farms with husband John. The couple were recognized as one of five families for the 2020 Master Farmer awards. Joyce Aggertt, San Jose. Sandy Bobell - Farming, Logan County Fair Assistant Superintendent Swine. Julie Cowan - Farmer, Fair goat scrambles. Dara Entwistle - Cattle farmer, Logan County Fair various involvements with livestock and scrambles. Brook Furman - Farming, Logan County Fair Assistant Superintendent Poultry. Dawn Irwin - Central Illinois Ag. Sharon (Klockenga) Jones - Part time crop farmer with father, husband, daughter. Sara Kleinschmidt - Farms with husband Kent in the Emden area and they were named 2017 Master Farmers by Prairie Farmer Magazine. Katherine Stoll Rehberg with the U of I. Gail Sasse - Full time specialty farming - Gail’s Pumpkin Patch. Kerianne Short - Farmer, Logan County Fair Superintendent Dept U Boer Goats. Rachael (Jones) Welker - Crop farms with grandfather, father and mother, Logan County Fair Office Manager, Logan County Farm Bureau Young Leader member. Elizabeth Stoll Wrage - now with Innovative Seed Solutions, LLC. Ashley Zinser - Central Illinois Ag. Recent Logan 4-H alumni: Abby Coers – Marketing Director for Central Illinois Ag, Atlanta, IL. Michelle Paulus – Assistant Vice President, Crop Insurance/Farm Credit IL - Sherman, IL office. Lauren Burris – Outreach & Communication Specialist/Sangamon Co. Farm Bureau.
