Page 4 2021 Logan County Fall Farm Outlook Lincoln Daily News Oct. - Nov. 2021 ooking back on more than ten years of publishing the Farm Outlook magazine, it is apparent that every year’s planting and harvesting seasons seem to have unique characteristics, and we could say the years are often completely different. There are so many variables. The one thing that is consistent is the tenacity and hard work of all the producers, and the dedication of those who are there to assist them. This magazine is published in part to chronicle some of the relevant ag related events in Logan County. The articles that we feature are written by our own staff members, and are aimed at two different audiences for two different purposes. First, this is a magazine to help the non-farm readers understand what is going on in agriculture right now, right here, so they know what their farming neighbors are experiencing. And second, articles in this and every one of our Farm Outlooks also seeks to inform ag professionals about subjects important to them without being heavy with “ag-speak” language.
