Chocolate covered Strawberries

1 (12 ounce) bag semi-sweet chocolate chips
2-3 tablespoons heavy whipping cream or half-and-half
1/4 cup Kahlua (or to taste)
2 pounds fresh strawberries

In a double-boiler, completely melt chocolate until smooth consistency. Add cream or half-and-half and Kahlua; stir carefully. Meanwhile, clean and dry strawberries. Dip strawberries, generously coating each, leaving steams free from chocolate. Gently lay on wax-lined cookie sheets. Refrigerate for at least 20 minute.
Note: For added decoration, melt some white chocolate chips and drizzle lightly each chocolate covered strawberry before refrigerating.
