Bacon Wrapped Cocktail Weenies

“Better double the recipe. Your guests will snarf these delites down and be begging for more. “

1 package cocktail weiners or sausages
1 pound thin sliced bacon
1/2 pound brown sugar

Preheated oven at 350 degrees. Line sided baking pan with foil (for easy clean-up) – A Must do!!! Cut sliced bacon into 2 or 3 pieces. Wrap each cocktail weiner/sausage with a bacon piece. Secure with toothpick and place in pan. Cover the wrapped cocktail delites with brown sugar. Bake till done. Serve.
Notes: I got this recipe from the chief of our revenue bureau a few years ago. And then I saw it featured in Midwest Living, the December 2008 issue.
