2 cups brown sugar
2 cups flour
1/4 cup margarine, softened
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup milk
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup semi sweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup butterscotch morsels
1/4 cup unsweetened flaked coconut
1/2 cup chopped walnuts, optional

In a large mixing bowl, combine sugar and flour. Cut in butter to make course crumbs. Reserve 1 cup of the mixture and set aside. To remaining mixture, stir in baking powder, salt, milk, egg, and vanilla. Continue beating until a smooth batter forms. Pour batter into a lightly greased 13x 9x 2 inch baking pan. Sprinkle reserved dry mixture over batter. In a small bowl, combine chocolate chips, butterscotch chips, coconut and walnuts; sprinkle evenly over batter. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 35 minutes, making sure top doesn't burn. If top gets too browned, cover with aluminum foil and continue baking. Cool completely before cutting.
