“Any Flavor” Cream Dessert

“An easy dessert made with ingredients you can keep on hand.”

1 package (any flavor) pudding and pie filling mix
2 cups milk
1 cup graham cracker crumbs
˝ stick margarine, melted
1/3 cup + 2 tablespoons sugar, divided
1 (8 oz.) package cream cheese, softened
1 (8 oz.) carton frozen whipped topping, thawed

Prepare pudding mix with milk on top of stove or in mircrowave; cooking until thick. Completely cool pudding in refrigerator. In small mixing bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, margarine and 2 tablespoons sugar. Press mixture in bottom of glass 8 x 8 inch pan; set aside. In medium mixing bowl, fold together cream cheese, 1/3 cup sugar and ˝ the carton of whipped topping. Layer on top of crust the whipped mixture, cooled cooked pudding and other ˝ of whipped topping. Top dessert with toasted coconut, chocolate pieces, toffee pieces or anything you desire.

Suggested Flavor Combinations:
Coconut Cream Pudding with toasted coconut topping.
Butterscotch Pudding with toffee pieces topping.
Chocolate Pudding, mini chocolate chips topping on chocolate cookie crust.
Lemon pudding with crushed up lemon cookies crumbs for crust and topping.
Vanilla Pudding and add fresh berries to the cream cheese mixture.
Note: Can also be made with low-fat or sugar free products
