Eggnog Cookies
1 cup butter, softened
1 cup sugar
1 egg
1 cup Eggnog
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 cup cornstarch
3 cups flour
For sprinkles: nutmeg, cinnamon, cloves, ginger
Cream butter, sugar, egg, eggnog, and vanilla. Combine baking
soda, cornstarch and flour; mixing well. Add dry ingredients to
creamed mixture and blend completely. Chill dough. Drop by
teaspoonful onto greased cookie sheet. In a small bowl combine
small amount of ground spices (nutmeg, cinnamon, cloves and
ginger) Sprinkle each cookie with small amount. Bake in 350
degree oven until light brown on the edges.
