Mae’s Mix Berry Cobbler

“My Aunt Mae made this for every holiday meal, I think it was her favorite dessert.”

1 cup fresh or frozen Raspberries
1 cup fresh or frozen Blueberries
2 cups fresh or frozen Sliced Strawberries
1˝ cup sugar, divided
1 cup flour
˝ tsp baking powder
˝ tsp salt
1 cup milk
˝ cup butter

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. In med. bowl, combine raspberries, blueberries, and strawberries, 1/2 C sugar; mix gently. Set aside. In another medium mixing bowl, combine flour, remaining sugar, baking powder and salt; mix well. Add milk; beat until smooth. Place butter in a med. baking dish in oven to melt butter; remove from oven. Spoon batter evenly over melted butter. Spoon berries over batter; do not stir. Bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown. Serve cobbler warm or at room temperature.
