Postponements at the fair

[AUG. 7, 2000]  Rain caused postponement of Saturday's major events, both morning and evening, at the Logan County Fairgrounds. The 3-on-3 basketball competition was postponed until Sunday, and those results will be published tomorrow in the Lincoln Daily News. Saturday evening's quarter midget races will be next Saturday, Aug. 12, at 6 p.m. Reserved box seat tickets will be honored.

[AUG. 7, 2000]  As the week goes on, Lincoln Daily News will be bringing you final wrap-up pictures and results from the fair, as well as a little story about some teens from the village of San Jose, and our delayed section of animals for adoption.

All citizens listed in the police reports are innocent until proven guilty by a court of law. The Lincoln Daily News does not list the names or exact addresses of individuals, unless convicted and over the age of 21. Listings include police reports, marriage licenses and dissolutions, and weekly court reports.
