Ralph
Edward Wieber, 81, of Lincoln died at 8:45 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 20,
2000, at his residence.
He
was a retired farmer and insurance salesman for Lincoln/Logan
Farmers Mutual.
Funeral
services will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 22, at Holland &
Barry Funeral Home in Lincoln, with the Rev. Mark Carnahan
officiating.
Burial
will be in Union Cemetery, Lincoln.
Visitation
will be from noon to 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home on Tuesday.
Wieber
was born Dec. 3, 1918, in Lincoln to Edward G. and Emma (Deusing)
Wieber. He married Maxine Johnson in Lincoln on Sept. 22, 1940. She
died Dec. 13, 1992.
Surviving
are one daughter, Brenda Monson of Buffalo Grove; two grandchildren,
Britta and Hanna; and two brothers, George Wieber and Edward Wieber
Jr., both of Lincoln.
He
was preceded in death by his wife and one sister, Mary Louise Tolles.
He
was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Lincoln. For 35 years he was
a board member for Lincoln/Logan Farmers Mutual.
