Alma
Emilie Baden, 96, of Mount Pulaski died at 2:45 a.m. Friday, Dec. 8,
2000, at Vonderlieth Living Center.
Funeral
services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Dec. 11, at Zion Lutheran
Church of Mount Pulaski, with the Rev. Walter Otten officiating.
Graveside
services will be at 3:30 p.m. at Bethlehem Lutheran Church Cemetery,
Altamont.
Visitation
will be from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Monday at the church.

Funeral Home in Mount Pulaski is handling arrangements.
A
retired Lutheran schoolteacher, Mrs. Baden had taught in Omaha,
Neb.; Altamont, Ill.; Junction City, Kan.; and Rolla, Mo.
She
was born April 17, 1904, in Omaha, Neb., to William G. and Elise (Frese)
Brommer. She married Walter Baden on June 27, 1926, in Omaha, Neb.
He preceded her in death.
Surviving
are one son, Herbert (and Joan) Baden of St. Charles, Mo.; three
daughters, Eleanor (and Robert) Droege of Hyattsville, Md., Elise
(and George) Locke of Ann Arbor, Mich., and Wilma (and the Rev.
Paul) Droegemueller of Mount Pulaski; 12 grandchildren; 16
great-grandchildren; and sisters Leona Bredehoft of Independence,
Kan., and Irene (and Raymond) Zuckweiler of Sun City West, Ariz.
She
was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one brother and two
sons, Alvin and Theodore Baden.
She
was a member of Zion Lutheran Church of Mount Pulaski.
Memorials
may be made to Concordia University, Seward, Neb.; Zion Lutheran
School or Church, Mount Pulaski; or to the donor’s choice.
