Beulah
L. Patterson, 85, of Mount Pulaski died at 12:50 p.m. Thursday, Dec.
14, 2000, at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital.
She
was a homemaker from Mount Pulaski.
Recently, she had been living at the Vonderlieth Living
Center in Mount Pulaski.
Fricke-Calvert-Schreader
Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
Services are unscheduled at this time.
She
was born Oct. 9, 1915, in Nashville, Tenn., to John and Mary Eva
Tucker Lamb. She
married James Dale Patterson, on Jan. 12, 1981, in Wilmington,
Calif. He preceded
her in death in March of 1996.
Surviving
are three brothers: John
Lamb of Nashville, Tenn., William Lamb of Nashville, Tenn.,
and Thomas L. Lamb of Augusta, Ga.
She was preceded in
death by her husband, parents, one sister and two brothers.
She was a member of
Mount Pulaski United Methodist Church.

Elizabeth
H. Semple, 94, of Lincoln died at 4:01 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 16, 2000,
at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital Emergency Room.
A
graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 19, at New Union
Cemetery, Lincoln, with the Rev. Ray Hudson officiating.
Visitation
will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Tuesday at Holland & Barry Funeral
Home.
Mrs.
Semple had been a homemaker for her family.
She
was born Jan. 22, 1906, at Burtonview to William and Nettie
(Schroeder) Beverman. She married Joseph E. Semple on Dec. 25, 1926,
in Lincoln. He died July 31, 1966.
Surviving
are one son, Eugene E. "Gene" Semple (wife: Jan) of
Lincoln; one daughter, Joyce P. Romine (husband: Kay) of Downs; four
grandchildren, Kevin Romine of Mahomet, Kent Romine of Grapevine,
Texas, Tony Semple of Rochester Hills, Mich., and Laurie Palmer of
White Heath; and three great-grandchildren, Lauren Romine, Shane
Romine and Dylan Palmer.
She
was preceded in death by six brothers and four sisters.
She
was a member of First United Methodist Church, Lincoln.
Memorials
may be made to St. Clara’s Manor.
