CUSTODIAL SERVICES
LINCOLN PUBLIC LIBRARY DISTRICT
The Lincoln Public Library District is soliciting bids
for CUSTODIAL SERVICES required by the Library for the
period of April 1, 2000 through Sept. 30, 2000. The work
is to be performed at the Library’s Carnegie building
and Annex building. Specifications of the job requirements
and a copy of the "conditions for contract" may
be obtained from the Library during the Library’s
regular business hours. A job site inspection will be
available BY APPOINTMENT by contacting the Library
Director. Bids will be received at the Library at 725
Pekin St., Lincoln, IL until 5:00PM, March 16, 2000. The
bids will be opened and read at 6:30PM on March 16, 2000
at the Board of Trustees meeting at the Library. The
Lincoln Public Library District is an equal opportunity
employer. The Library has adopted a resolution determining
prevailing wage rates for public works in accordance with
the Illinois Compiled Statutes. The Lincoln Public Library
District reserves the right to reject any or all bids and
to waive irregularities therein, and all bidders must
agree that such rejection shall be without liability on
the part of the Lincoln Public Library District for any
penalty brought by a bidder because of such rejections,
nor shall the bidder seek any recourse of any kind against
the Library District because of such rejections. The
filing of any bid in response to this invitation shall
constitute an agreement of the bidder to these conditions.
