DUNCAN
AND HELEN HANNAH
Duncan
and Helen Hannah, Lincoln residents since 1965, are celebrating
their 50th wedding anniversary this month. They were married June
10, 1950, at Coburn Methodist Church in Zanesville, Ohio. They will
celebrate this weekend, June 17 and 18, with a family dinner and a
breakfast cookout with family and friends in Kickapoo Creek Park.
They
are the parents of Samuel of Lincoln; Stephen of Flagstaff, Ariz.;
Elbert of Barrington; Kenneth of Naperville; Michael of Normal; and
Carol Culkin of Denver, Colo. They have 14 grandchildren. All of
their children will be in Lincoln to help them celebrate.
Duncan
Hannah is retired from the Lincoln Developmental Center and is a
former counselor at Lincoln College. His hobby is making violins.
Mrs. Hannah, a music teacher, taught string instrument programs in
Lincoln School District 27 and at Lincoln Community High School for
20 years. She has been a substitute teacher and still gives private
string and piano lessons.

ANTHONY
JACKSON BRUMMETT, son of Meredith Gail Brummett and William
Anthony Brummett of Lincoln, was born Thursday, June 22, 2000, at
Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital. He weighed 8 pounds, 6 ounces. He
is a brother to Austin Brummett, 5˝. Maternal grandparents are Judy
Parsons and Jack and Shirley Ritchhart of Lincoln. Paternal
grandparents are Ray and Barb Brummett of Lincoln. William T.
Brummett of Grand Junction, Colo., is Anthony’s great-grandfather.
The baby was named after his father and his maternal grandfather.
JOHN
DIETRICK RADESPIEL JR., son of Rebekah L. and John Dietrick
Radespiel Sr., was born at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital on
Monday, June 19, 2000. He weighed 5 pounds, 13 ounces. He is a half
brother to Ryan Radespiel. Maternal grandparents are Rex and Becky
Heyen of Lincoln. Walt and Carol Radespiel of Lincoln are paternal
grandparents. Great-grandparents are Mary and Nate Simpson and
Donald and Bernice Heyen. The baby was named after his father.
MELISSA
ROSE HARVEY, daughter of Debra and Daniel Harvey of Lincoln,
was born Tuesday, June 6, 2000, at ALMH. She weighed 6 pounds, 7 ounces. She is a sister to
Jeffrey, 11, Heather, 10, Andrew, 7, and Alissa, 2. Maternal
grandparents are Jon and Carol Menter of Decatur. Paternal
grandparents are Russel and Ruth Ann Harvey of Lincoln. The baby’s
middle name is the same as her great-grandmother Rose.
ASHTIN
KEITH SYLVESTER, son of Jamie and Aaron Sylvester of
Lincoln, was born Monday, June 5, 2000, at ALMH. He weighed 7
pounds, 12 ounces. He is a brother to Christopher Sylvester, 8, and
Carli Overbey, 2. Maternal grandparents are Becky and David Horrom
of Atlanta and David Hickey of Lincoln. Paternal grandparents are
Kristine and Mike Mullins of Stonington, and Robert Sylvester of
North Carolina. Great-grandparents are John and Judy Worth of
Lincoln, Darlin Kline of Stonington, and Eugene and Betty Hickey of
Lincoln.
MICHAEL
CODY NEWHOUSE, son of Cindy and Rod Newhouse of Lincoln, was
born at ALMH on Sunday, June 4, 2000.
He weighed 7 pounds, 15 ounces. He is a brother to Heather, 11, and
Kristopher, 10. His maternal grandparents are E.E. "Hardrock"
and Beverly Harruff of Lincoln. Paternal grandparents are David and
Karen Newhouse of Lincoln. Michael was named after his father.
RAQUELLE
DAWN HYDE, daughter of Rachelle D. and William P. Hyde of
Lincoln, was born Saturday, June 3, 2000, at ALMH. Her maternal
grandparents are David and Risa Riggs of Lincoln. Paternal
grandparents are Terrence Hyde of Lincoln and Pam Bradley of Athens.
Great-grandparents are Jerry and Rhea Waldridge, Jean and Patty
Riggs, Paul and Ruthetta Logan, and John Hyde.
EMMA
MARIE RITTERBUSH, daughter of Jodi and Doug Ritterbush of
Lincoln, was born Saturday, June 3, 2000, at ALMH. She weighed 8
pounds, 2 ounces. Her maternal grandparents are Darwin and Jean
Westen of Camdenton, Mo. Paternal grandmother is Nancy Ritterbush of
Hartsburg. Great-grandparents are Edith Wibben, Ila Westen and
Frances Ritterbush. Emma shares her middle name with her mother and
maternal grandmother.
