DUNCAN
AND HELEN HANNAH
Duncan
and Helen Hannah, Lincoln residents since 1965, are celebrating
their 50th wedding anniversary this month. They were married June
10, 1950, at Coburn Methodist Church in Zanesville, Ohio. They will
celebrate this weekend, June 17 and 18, with a family dinner and a
breakfast cookout with family and friends in Kickapoo Creek Park.
They
are the parents of Samuel of Lincoln; Stephen of Flagstaff, Ariz.;
Elbert of Barrington; Kenneth of Naperville; Michael of Normal; and
Carol Culkin of Denver, Colo. They have 14 grandchildren. All of
their children will be in Lincoln to help them celebrate.
Duncan
Hannah is retired from the Lincoln Developmental Center and is a
former counselor at Lincoln College. His hobby is making violins.
Mrs. Hannah, a music teacher, taught string instrument programs in
Lincoln School District 27 and at Lincoln Community High School for
20 years. She has been a substitute teacher and still gives private
string and piano lessons.

Jeff
and Melinda Mayfield of Lincoln are pleased to announce they are expecting

the Lincoln Daily News.

CHEYANNE
MARIE HACKWITH-WORK, daughter of Heather Marie Hackwith and
Joshua Shane Work of Lincoln, was born Thursday, June 29, 2000, at
ALMH. She weighed 6 pounds, 2 ounces. Maternal grandparents are
Sharon Ann Brown and Bill Brown of Lincoln. Paternal grandparents
are Jane and Mark Work of Lincoln. Grandma Sharon Brown named the
baby.
MADYSON
MARIAH TURLEY, daughter of Tina G. and Randall D. Turley of
Lincoln, was born Thursday, June 29, 2000, at Abraham Lincoln
Memorial Hospital. She weighed 8 pounds, 5 ounces. She is a sister
to Adam, 14, Chase, 12, and Spencer, 2. Grandparents are Nola and
Harrison Turley of Lincoln and Dorothy and George Harris of Clinton.
Madyson’s middle name, Mariah, is from her
great-great-grandmother.
ANTHONY
JACKSON BRUMMETT, son of Meredith Gail Brummett and William
Anthony Brummett of Lincoln, was born Thursday, June 22, 2000, at
Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital. He weighed 8 pounds, 6 ounces. He
is a brother to Austin Brummett, 5˝. Maternal grandparents are Judy
Parsons and Jack and Shirley Ritchhart of Lincoln. Paternal
grandparents are Ray and Barb Brummett of Lincoln. William T.
Brummett of Grand Junction, Colo., is Anthony’s great-grandfather.
The baby was named after his father and his maternal grandfather.
JOHN
DIETRICK RADESPIEL JR., son of Rebekah L. and John Dietrick
Radespiel Sr., was born at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital on
Monday, June 19, 2000. He weighed 5 pounds, 13 ounces. He is a half
brother to Ryan Radespiel. Maternal grandparents are Rex and Becky
Heyen of Lincoln. Walt and Carol Radespiel of Lincoln are paternal
grandparents. Great-grandparents are Mary and Nate Simpson and
Donald and Bernice Heyen. The baby was named after his father.
