              I
think internet newspaper is a good idea. I often use internet to
look at the world news. It is nice to have local news in the net
as well. Since people can correspond easily by emails, I think
your internet newspaper must give good influence to your local
              people.
              yours
              sincerely

              lower gas prices in area

              To
              the editor:
              This
is not something I want published with my name, but I wanted to
let you know about gas prices. I was in Springfield yesterday
(7-9-00) & the prices are just amazing!!
              Qik
'n EZ (near the fairgrounds) was $1.28 per gallon as were the
Freedom Station (between Sherman & Springfield) and of all
things, the Phillips 66 Station near the fairgrounds (Burwells).
Why are they still $1.59 in Lincoln?
              Shop
              Lincoln? NO WAY!!!
              Although
I have not shopped in Clinton, I hear that their prices are in the
$1.30 price range (not sure on that one). You may want to check on
              that.
              I
think the people of Lincoln should know & ask what is
happening with the gas prices in Lincoln! Why should we be paying
$.31 more in Lincoln than surrounding communities. Someone has a
pretty good profit margin going on here!
