That's
a nice article
on Claire's Needlework's! She is indeed a very nice lady and
businesswoman, and an asset to our town. I had the pleasure of
doing business with her not too long ago myself. I inherited an
18" crazy quilt block that was pieced by a slave girl over
150 years ago and in order to preserve it, I took it to Claire's
to be professionally framed. Not only was Clara extremely helpful
in the frame/matting selection process, she gave me quite a
discount on the total cost since she was planning on running a
sale the following week anyway. It is rare to find a shopkeeper
like that nowadays. I wish her many years of success!
