YOUTH SERVICES LIBRARY ASSOCIATE/
ADULT PROGRAMS OFFICER
The Lincoln Public Library District is accepting
applications until 6:00 PM, March 31, 2000 for the
position of Youth Services Library Associate/Adult
Programs Officer. This full-time para-professional
position has two primary areas of responsibility: assist
the Youth Services Librarian in the supervision of the
Library's youth services, and plan and execute the
LIbrary's adult programs service.
Position: full time
Salary Range: $15,163 - $21,389 (annual)
Minimum requirements: Associate degree from a two-year
college in library science, history, English, education or
related field. Experience in library work, public
relations or communications considered a plus.
Benefits: Paid vacation/sick leave, paid
holidays/compensatory holidays, paid health/dental
coverage
Hours/days: generally 10am-6pm. Some nights and weekends
required.
