Dolores "Deedee" Bartman, 84, of Lincoln, died at 3:15
a.m. Tuesday, May 2, 2000, at the Christian Village in Lincoln.
Funeral
services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, May 5, at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader
Funeral Home in Lincoln.
Burial
will be in Richmond Grove Cemetery, New Holland.
Visitation
will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Mrs.
Bartman was a housewife.
She
was born Nov. 28, 1918, at Lincoln, a daughter of Joseph and Birdie
(Spradley) Carr. She married Ralph E. Bartman Jan. 10, 1936, at New
Holland.
Surviving
are her husband, of Lincoln; one sister, Beatice Young of Sun City,
Ariz.; two grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and several nieces
and nephews.
She
was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Cheryl Ann
Lewis; one brother; and one sister.
She
was a member of First Baptist Church of Lincoln and the women’s
group of the church.

K. Johnson, 84, of Lincoln died at 2:55 a.m. Sunday, April 30, 2000,
at St. John’s Hospice in Springfield.
Funeral
services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, May 4, at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader
Funeral Home in Lincoln with the Rev. Paul Gilmore officiating.
Graveside
services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Hillcrest Cemetery in
Centralia.

Funeral Home in Lincoln.
Mrs.
Johnson was retired from teaching in the Lincoln school districts.
She
was born Dec. 14, 1915, in Centralia, a daughter of Raymond E. and
Nina (Stonecipher) Krutsinger. She married Paul Johnson in 1935 in
Oakland City, Ind. He preceded her in death.
Surviving
are one son, Jim Johnson of Springfield; one sister, Anne Goin of
Springfield; and many nieces and nephews.
She
was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, one brother and
one daughter.
She
was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Lincoln, Illinois
Education Association, National Education Association, Dewitt-Logan
County Retired Teachers Association, Lincoln Women’s Club,
Daughters of the American Revolution, Logan County Genealogical
Society, White Shrine of Jerusalem and P.E.O.

W. Leisch, 62, of Lincoln died at 2:46 p.m. Sunday, April 30, 2000,
at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital in Lincoln.
Funeral

Funeral Home in Lincoln with the Rev. Larry Maffett officiating.
Burial
will be at Downing Cemetery in Logan County.

Leisch
was employed by the Office of the Secretary of State in Springfield.
He
served in the U.S. Army in the 6th Armored Division
during the Korean War.
He
was born July 16, 1937, in Lincoln, a son of Ralph H. and Mildred
(Brown) Leisch.
He
is survived by one sister, Linda Mecham of Bloomington; one niece,
Jodene Beavis of Novato, Calif.; three nephews, Gary Mecham and
Michael Lenardt, both of Bloomington, and Ray Mecham of Schereville,
Ind.
He
was preceded in death by his parents.
Leisch
was employed by P.P.G. in Lincoln for 22 years. He was an avid
golfer, a member of the U.S. Golf Association, and worked for
several years in the Pro Shop at the Lincoln Elks Country Club. He
was a member of First United Methodist Church in Lincoln and of
AMVETS.

Jane Rude, 60, of Lincoln, died at 6:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 3, 2000,
at her residence.
Funeral
services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, May 6, 2000, at Holland
& Barry Funeral Home in Lincoln with the Rev. Carl Hatmaker
officiating.
Burial
will be in Old Union Cemetery, Lincoln.
Visitation
will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home and one hour
before the service at the funeral home on Saturday.
Mrs.
Rude was a homemaker.
She
was born April 9, 1940, at Springfield, a daughter of Lester N. and
Bessie Marie (Stephens) Palmer. She married Lyle Marcus
"Jerry" Rude Nov. 23, 1974 at Atlanta. He died Nov. 17,
1996.
Surviving
are her mother, Bessie Palmer of Lincoln; two daughters, Patricia
Shroyer of Lincoln and Debra Doom of Marshall, Minn.; four sons,
Dane Shroyer, Brian "Scott" Shroyer and Jerry Scott Rude,
all of Lincoln, and Joe Newton of Korea; three stepchildren, Mark
Rude and Karen West, both of Tampa, Fla., and Kim Takeuchi of
Oregon; 18 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two brothers,
George Palmer of Middleburg, Fla., and Thomas Palmer of Carlysle,
Ark.; and three sisters, Dora Jean Donath, Ina Smith and Pat Duncan,
all of Lincoln.
She
was preceded in death by her father; her husband; two brothers, John
and Jimmy Palmer; and one sister, Clarabell Palmer.
She
was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Richmond, Ky., and attended
Fellowship Baptist Church of Lincoln.

Donald
D. Fulk, 83, of Armington died at 4:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 2, 2000, at
Bartmann Health Care Center, rural Atlanta.
Funeral
services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 4, at the Quiram Funeral
Home in Atlanta.
Burial
will be in Oakview Cemetery, rural Armington.
There
will be no visitation.
Fulk
was employed by Caterpillar Tractor Company, East Peoria, for many
years. He retired in 1980. He also worked with the Armington Locker.
He
was born June 27, 1916, at Emden, a son of George and Georgia
(Dickson) Fulk. He married Ladine Ellis May 28, 1938, at Lincoln.
She survives, currently residing at Hopedale Commons in Hopedale.
Also
surviving are one daughter, Nancy Fulk of Minier; one son, Garry
(and Angie) Fulk of Normal; nine grandchildren; 12
great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Bernadine Deterding of
Armington and Earline Powell of Atlanta.
He
was preceded in death by one son, Lyle Fulk; one grandson; and one
great-grandson.
Fulk
was a member of the Armington Christian Church.
He
enjoyed traveling and gardening.

Geraldine "Geri" Brandt, 85, of Lincoln died at 4:55 p.m.
Monday, May 1, 2000, at Bartmann Healthcare Center, rural Atlanta.

services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, May 4, at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader
Funeral Home in Lincoln, with Tom Gerdts officiating.
Burial
will be in Bethel Cemetery, rural Emden.
Visitation
will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Mrs.
Brandt was a retired registered nurse. She had worked at Lincoln
Development Center in Lincoln.
She
was born May 29, 1914, at Monmouth, a daughter of Leroy and Ida
(Bower) Radmacher. She married Stephen Carl Brandt Sr. March 10,
1939, in Lincoln. He died Aug. 8, 1979.
Surviving
are two sons, Stephen (and Barbara) Brandt Jr. of Lincoln and David
(and Pam) Brandt of Murphysboro; one daughter, Nancy (and Patrick)
Luehring of Elmhurst; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren;
one sister, Dorothea Ross of Cape Coral, Fla.; and one
sister-in-law, Frances Radmacher of Springfield.
She
was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers and one
grandchild.
She
was a member of Lincoln Christian Church.
