Geneva
Lucille Harrold, 81, of Lincoln, died at 11:40 a.m. Monday, May 15,
2000, at the Christian Village.
Funeral
services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 18, at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader
Funeral Home in Lincoln with Don Green officiating.
Burial
will be in Union Cemetery, Lincoln.
Visitation
will be one hour before the service at the funeral home.
Mrs.
Harrold was a retired cook who had worked at Jackson Heights Nursing
Home in Farmer City.
She
was born Sept. 1, 1918, in McLean County, a daughter of Charles E.
and Bertha Ware Dill. She married Fred R. Harrold Nov. 14, 1937, in
Farmer City. He died May 16, 1970.
She
is survived by several nieces and nephews.
She
was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
She
was a member of Lincoln Christian Church. She supplied music for
revivals and special events, was a children’s Sunday school
teacher, and held various offices in the Women’s Christian
Temperance Union.

Lewis
Scott Marshall, 48, of Lincoln died at 10:25 p.m. Monday, May 15,
2000, at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital in Lincoln.
Cremation
rites were accorded.
Visitation
will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, May 18, at Holland & Barry
Funeral Home in Lincoln.
Marshall
was born Aug. 16, 1951, at Springfield, a son of Lewis Edwin and
Juanita (Payne) Marshall.
He
is survived by his mother and stepfather, Juanita and James
Pippenger of Elkhart; two brothers, Thomas E. Marshall of Biloxi,
Miss., and Kelly A. Marshall of Elkhart; and two sisters, Pamela J.
Cooper and Wendy S. Hild, both of Mount Pulaski.
He
was preceded in death by his father, Lewis Edwin Marshall.
Memorials
may be made to the Lewis Marshall Memorial Fund or to a charity of
the donor’s choice.
