EMILY
ANNE MESSNER, daughter of Barbara and Brian Messner of
Lincoln, was born Monday, May 22, 2000, at Abraham Lincoln Memorial
Hospital. She weighed 6 pounds, 7 ounces. Emily’s maternal
grandparents are Cliff and Shirley Marble of Albuquerque, N.M.
Paternal grandparents are William and Gloria Messner of Battle
Creek, Mich. Lois Myers is Emily’s great-grandmother. The baby was
named for her great-great-grandmother and her great-aunt Emily.
FAITH
LEIGHANN DOERR, daughter of Marsha Humphres Doerr and Scott
E. Doerr of Elkhart, was born Wednesday, May 17, 2000, at ALMH. She
weighed 8 pounds, 7 ounces. She is a sister to Matthew Fuller, 15.
Maternal grandparents are Morris and Vera Humphres of Elkhart. Lana
Doerr of Chatham and Paul Doerr of Jacksonville are paternal
grandparents. Great-grandparents are Madge and the late Orban
Humphres of Williamsville, Mryte and the late Bill Doerr of
Jacksonville, and Ted and Charline Donovan of Jacksonville.
KALEE
SUE JAMES, daughter of Michelle Sue Thompson and Terry Lee
James of Lincoln, was born Tuesday, May 16, 2000, at ALMH. She
weighed 7 pounds, 1 ounce. She is a sister to Tydas, 12, Kourtney,
11, and Ethen, 7. Maternal grandparents are David E. and Pamela J.
Thompson of Lincoln and Scott I. and Sherry S. Volk of Hudson.
Paternal grandparents are Loyld E. and Donna L. James of Girard and
Marilyn J. and the late Floyd W. Snider of Catlin. James J. Sutton
Sr. of Lincoln is Kalee’s maternal great-grandfather. Kalee shares
the last three letters of her first name with her father, and shares
her middle name with her mother and both maternal grandmothers.
ZACHARY
STEPHEN MORRIS, son of Donna R. and Mark S. Morris of
Lincoln, was born at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital Monday, May
15, 2000. He weighed 7.5 pounds. He is a brother to Alyssa, 4, and
Alexis, 2. Zachary’s maternal grandparents are Fred and Mary
Berberich of Mount Carmel. Paternal grandparents are Rich and Beth
Morris of Lincoln. Zachary shares his middle name with his paternal
great-grandfather, Stephen Power.
TRACE
LOGAN PASSMORE, son of Cassie and Jeremy Passmore of Mason
City, was born Friday, May 12, 2000, at ALMH. He weighed 8 pounds,
11 ounces. He has a sister, Rhiana, 18 months. His maternal
grandparents are Brian and Janet Young of Mason City. Paternal
grandparents are Marlene and Donnie Passmore of Manito.
Great-grandparents are Ronnie Jackson of Lewiston; L.E. Passmore of
Sweetwater, Tenn.; Jean Lumpkin of Pekin; and Dorothy McLaughlin of
Mason City.

GARY CHAUDOIN, son of Brita and Chad Chaudoin of Lincoln,
was born at ALMH on Wednesday, May 10, 2000. He weighed 8 pounds, 10
ounces. His maternal grandfather is Ronald Koester of Lincoln.

to Kalyn Noelle Roberts, 16 months. Maternal grandparents are John
A. and Patricia L. Aper of Lincoln. Otto W. and Susan K. Roberts of
Lincoln are paternal grandparents. Great-grandparents are Eldon and
Lucille Mallinson of Lincoln, Olive Goodman of Mount Pulaski and

MICHAEL DETMERS, son of Samantha and Douglas Detmers of

pounds, 4 ounces. He has a sister, Jordan, 2˝. Maternal
grandparents are Roland and Cheri Doom of Athens. Robert and Joyce
