I would prefer 12 months because I get bored during the three
months during the summer. On a 12-month schedule, you would work for a
time period, look forward to some time off and then be ready to come
back. Also less time would be required for reviewing.

A 12-month schedule would be better. You forget so much over the
summer, especially in math. Math teachers always have to review
extensively.
