LCC men’s
basketball vs. Iowa Wesleyan
[NOV.
20, 2000]
Lincoln
Christian Preachers played a second game over the weekend. It was against Iowa Wesleyan.
With a halftime score of 35-57 in Wesleyan’s favor, the warmed-up Preachers
bettered Wesleyan 40-33 in the second half for a game total of 75-90, with
Wesleyan the winner.
In
a post-game review, Coach Randy Kirk had this to say, "We did not handle
the ball very well. Our press was ineffective. We didn't do a good transition
from press into half-court defense."
In highlights,
"Dante Watson was the most important player over the weekend," Kirk
said. "He proved he can play with scholarshipped players."
