Lincoln warms up for Xmas

[NOV. 25, 2000]  You've stuffed yourself with turkey and dressing, watched the parades, and cheered your favorite football team, so there's no doubt the holiday season has arrived!  When you shop in Lincoln on the traditional kickoff to the Christmas countdown, you'll also get a chance to get your holiday presents free.

A DARE program

Students learn about scruples
through role-playing

[NOV. 25, 2000]  Lincoln students have a rare opportunity, thanks to the Lincoln Police Department. OUT AND ABOUT

Part 2

ORGANIZATIONS

Mason City Parade of Lights and Trees set

[NOV. 25, 2000]  Mason City's Parade of Lights has grown each of the years it has been in existence. Sponsored by the C. L. U. B., this light parade has grown from a few decorated vehicles to anything that walks, talks, barks and moves by its own power. Adding to the Light Parade will be a Parade of Trees, now in its second year.  Decorated Christmas trees featured throughout the 120 N. Main St. Civic Center and adjoining museum will warm spirits for parade goers.
