Boyd
O. Buesking, 82, of Atlanta died at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 27,
2000, at his residence.
Funeral
services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 30, at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader
Funeral Home in Lincoln, with the Rev. Larry Maffett officiating.
Burial
with military rites will be in Zion Cemetery, Lincoln.
Visitation
will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Buesking
farmed for Hoblit Seed Co. for 40 years.
He
served in the U.S. Army from 1943 to 1946.
He
was born Nov. 19, 1917, at Strasburg to Louis Frederick and Myrtle
(Baldwin) Buesking. He married Lois Unroe on Jan. 22, 1939, in
Macon.
Surviving
are his wife, of Atlanta; three sons, Carl Frederick (and Melody)
Buesking of Tennessee, Buster Leon (and Barbara) Buesking of
Bloomington and Richard Lee Buesking of Lillyville; six
grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Fay Lois
Halsey of Lincoln and Grace Struening of Macomb.
He
was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and one sister.
He
was of the Methodist faith.
Memorials
may be made to Hospice of Central Illinois.

Helen
M. Montgomery, 91, of Lincoln died at 9:45 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 27,
2000, at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital.
Funeral
services will be at 10 a.m. Monday, Oct. 2, at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader
Funeral Home in Lincoln with Tom Gerdts officiating.
Burial
will be in Atlanta Cemetery, Atlanta.
Visitation
will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 1, at the funeral home.
Eastern Star services will be at 8 p.m.
Mrs.
Montgomery was a homemaker.
She
was born July 12, 1909, at Forest City to Ford and Goldie (Hovey)
Van Orman. She married E. Wayne Montgomery on July 5, 1942, at
Forest City. He died May 3, 1980.
Surviving
are two sons, Tom (and Barbara) Montgomery of Cambridge and Dan (and
Cora) Montgomery of Flower Mound, Texas; four grandchildren; two
great-grandchildren; and one brother, Forrest Van Orman of Forest
City.
She
was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers and one
sister.
She
was a member of Lincoln Christian Church and the Eastern Star.
She
was a graduate of Brown’s Business College.
