Lincoln Christian College vs. Missouri Baptist

[FEB. 7, 2001]  The Preachers made a good showing though they were outclassed on their home court Tuesday evening when Missouri Baptist came to town. They jumped out to a 13-5 lead in the first half and went on a 9-2 run in the start of the second half. That’s about as good as we can play against such a high-caliber team."

Kirk went on to credit Dante Watson’s performance saying that this player "really has stepped up in the last two weeks. He had 17 points and nine rebounds. He really makes a difference on this team."

Halftime scores (Missouri Baptist first): 55-40, 93-70
