[Look closely when you visit the museum
and you will see the date stamped at the bottom of this poster:
1918. Other posters are dated also.]

[From front to back, this room holds displays from World War II
to Vietnam, not including Korea.]

[Japanese carried little "battle
flags" on them to bolster their bravery. This one was taken
from the Solomon Islands in World War II.]

[Korean-era Air Force uniform blouse
belonging to the source of this information. His name is on the
official name tag. A uniform night jacket was longer than a uniform
blouse.]

[A Lincoln woman married a fighter pilot
who was killed in action at the beginning of World War II. Later she
married another pilot, named John Harkins, who was a navigator of a
B29. Harkins was in the same flight line as the Enola Gay that
dropped the atomic bomb. Elizabeth Harkins donated several items for
display.]

[Every inch of the museum is packed -- from
floor to ceiling and including the ceiling -- with interesting things
to look at. A large model airplane hangs upside down.]
|

[An authentic German corner includes many
German artifacts. Nazi flags can no longer be found even for
purchase if you visit Germany today.]
|
|

[This display is about women in the
military, including World War II, Amelia Earhart and memorabilia
from local women who served.]
|

[A display near the front contains mostly
World War II memorabilia.]
