Edna Forsythe

Edna F. Forsythe, 97, of Lincoln died at 8:20 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 25, 2001, at Christian Village.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, Feb. 28, at 10:30 a.m. at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln, with Tim Searby officiating.

Burial will be in New Union Cemetery, Lincoln.

Visitation will be one hour before the service at the funeral home.

Mrs. Forsythe was a homemaker.

She was born Sept. 9, 1903, at rural Latham to John and Sarah (Donnan) Heft. She married Earl Forsythe on Jan. 25, 1928, in Lincoln. He died April 2, 1976.

Surviving is one son, John Allan Forsythe of Lincoln.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and five brothers.

She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Lincoln, Eastern Star and Royal Neighbors of America.

Memorials may be made to employees of Christian Village or to the donor’s choice.

Patricia Bandelow

Patricia "Patty Ann" Bandelow, 65, of Mount Pulaski died at 10:51 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 22, 2001, at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield.

Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday, Feb. 26, at Zion Lutheran Church of Mount Pulaski, with the Rev. Paul Droegemueller officiating.

Burial will be in Steenbergen Cemetery, Mount Pulaski.

Visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 25, at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Mount Pulaski.

Mrs. Bandelow was a homemaker.

She was born June 24, 1935, at Lake Fork to Charles Patrick and Mabel (Fuiten) Manley. She married Orville O. Bandelow in Lake Fork on Feb. 14, 1954.

Surviving are her husband, of Mount Pulaski; one daughter, Renita (and David) Mohr of Quincy; two grandchildren, Aaron and Andria Mohr of Quincy; two stepgrandchildren, Jason and Nathan Mohr of Quincy; her mother, Mabel Manley of Mount Pulaski; and two sisters, Verna (Seig) Norrington of Forsyth and Janet (Darold) Deibert of Mount Pulaski.

She was preceded in death by her father.

She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church of Mount Pulaski.

Memorials may be made to her church, Zion Lutheran School of Mount Pulaski or American Heart Association.

Mabel Musick

Mabel N. Musick, 90, of rural Atlanta died at 5:30 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 25, 2001, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Paulsen and son, Atlanta. She had been in their care.

Graveside services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 27, at Zion Cemetery, Lincoln. The Rev. James Cravens will officiate.

Quiram Funeral Home in Atlanta is in charge of arrangements.

There will be no visitation.

Miss Musick taught a few years in country schools. She was then employed in the newsroom at the Lincoln Courier for 31½ years.

She was born Sept. 24, 1910, at Paola, Kan., to Robert P. and Louise (Schroeder) Musick.

She was the last of her immediate family and was preceded in death by a sister.

She was a graduate of Lincoln High School and attended Lincoln College.

She was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church in Lincoln and the Daughters of the American Revolution.
