her residence.
Funeral
services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 5, at Jefferson Street
Christian Church in Lincoln, with J.K. Jones and Tom Gerdts
officiating.
Burial
will be in New Union Cemetery, Lincoln.
Visitation
will be for an hour and a half before the service at the church on
Friday.
Mrs.
Tesh was a homemaker.
She
was born Sept. 30, 1914, at Amistad, N.M., to Arthur and Hattie
(Forman) Douglass. She married S. Edward Tesh on May 27, 1934, in
Ashland. He died March 17, 1999.
Surviving
are one son, A. Laverne (and Marcella) Tesh of Lincoln; two
daughters, Nancy L. (and Kenneth) Thompson of Indianapolis, Ind.,
and Becky S. (and Terry) Werth of Licoln; nine grandchildren,
Jeffrey (and Cindy) Thompson, Gregory (and Stephanie) Thompson,
Corby (and Julie) Thompson, Jill (and Michael) Briggs, Dawn Howard,
Dara Tesh, Daryl (and Charma) Tesh, DeAnn (and Bill) Cooper, and
Christopher (and Stephanie) Werth; 17 great-grandchildren; one
brother, Dwight (and Marjorie) Douglass of Holiday, Fla.; and one
sister, Pearl Skaggs of Pleasant Plains.
She
was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and two brothers,
Chester and Howard Douglass.
She
was a member of Lake Fork Christian Church, Lake Fork.

Hasenmyer
farmed in Logan County from 1939 to 1986.
He
was born Jan. 26, 1915, in Lincoln to George and Anna (Howland)
Hasenmyer. He married Helen Irene Lessen on Jan. 18, 1939, in
Lincoln. She survives.
Also
surviving are one brother, Louis Hasenmyer of Lincoln, and two
grandchildren.
He
was preceded in death by one grandchild; one brother, George D.
Hasenmyer; and two children, Marvin Hasenmyer and Jane Hasenmyer.
He
was a member of First United Methodist Church of Lincoln and the
Logan County Farm Bureau.

"Konnie" Aviza, 82, of Lincoln died at 9:25 p.m. Monday,
Jan. 1, 2001, at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital in Lincoln.

Home in Lincoln, with the Rev. Thomas Taylor officiating.
Burial,
with military rites, will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Lincoln.

Aviza
had been employed in the maintenance department at Lehn and Fink in
Lincoln. He retired in 1982.
He
served during World War II with the U.S. Army Engineers in the
European Theatre.
He
was born April 14, 1918, in Cambridge, Mass., to Joseph and Barbara
(Sidlouskas) Aviza. He married Patricia Simpson in Lincoln on June
8, 1950. She survives.
Also
surviving are three daughters, Diane Lowe of Emden, Barbara Bernahl
of Lincoln and Donna Aviza of Lincoln; two sons, Richard Aviza of
Lincoln and David Aviza of Coldwater, Mich.; seven grandchildren; 10
great-grandchildren; and one brother, Ben Stopolones of Clearwater,
Fla.
He
was a member of Holy Family Church, American Legion Post 263,
Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1756 and Lincoln Sportsman Club, all
in Lincoln.

Harmon. He married Edna J. Henrichsmeyer on March 24, 1962, in
Lincoln.
Surviving
are his wife, Edna, of Lincoln; three sons, Timothy (and Linda)
Harmon of Pleasant Plains, Kevin Eric Harmon of Chicago, Mark
William (and Nancy) Harmon of Fort Collins, Colo.; two
granddaughters, Krista Hoban and Hannah Harmon; one grandson, David
Harmon; two great-granddaughters, Victoria Hoban and Katelyn Hoban;
one great-grandson, Patrick Hoban; one brother, Robert G. Harmon of
Decatur; and one sister, Marilyn Dunn of Canton, Ohio.
He
was preceded in death by his parents.

Hubbell was a retired schoolteacher.
She

Malandrone. She married C.F. Hubbell on Oct. 24, 1931, at Grafton.
He died in December of 1959.

are one daughter, Marilyn Fox of Lincoln; two grandchildren; and two
great-grandchildren.

She

(Jackson) Lee. She married Vernon Rubenking on Feb. 25, 1967, in
Lincoln. He survives.

Rosemary Melton, all of Lincoln, Herbert J. Seitzer of Mount Pulaski
and Alan Seitzer of Chandler, Ariz.; nine grandchildren; 12

Paul Lee of Waynesville.
She
was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Stanley Lee; and
one grandson, Michael Herbert Seitzer.
She
was a member of Lincoln Christian Church and the church’s Jolly
Seniors and Little Lambs Sunday School class. She was also a member
of Alpha Omicron Sorority and Ladies Auxiliary of the American
Legion.
