The Hoyts brought in many exotic animals and ornate craftwork from Zimbabwe and other parts of Africa.

[This table held many delicate crafts, from an etched ostrich egg sitting on three wart-hog tusks to a knitted lampshade.]
[Mrs. Hoyt displays a beautiful map of Zimbabwe, and each region of the country is covered with a different skin.]	[A giraffe carved from a tree trunk; the head of a sable.]	[Mrs. Hoyt arranged this board to show the diversity in Zimbabwe and Africa. The skin belongs to a kudu Mr. Hoyt himself hunted.]

[Isn’t the likeness of these African buffalo uncanny?]
