NOTICE OF
TREE TRIMMING ACTIVITIES IN LINCOLN
TO: THE
PATRONS OF AMERENCILCO
AmerenCILCO hereby gives
notice to the public that it will begin preventative maintenance tree
trimming in the area in and around Lincoln, Illinois. AmerenCILCO’s line
clearance program is a measure taken to ensure the safety and reliability
of our customers’ electric service. In the near future AmerenCILCO
contractors will begin trimming trees away from power lines in this area.
Occupants of the properties affected and local officials receive notice as
mandated by Illinois legislation. A copy of the map for each affected area
was filed with the office of the mayor of Lincoln as well as the Logan
County Board chairman. Any questions or concerns about the work performed
can be directed to AmerenCILCO at 1-888-672-5252 (toll free) or
(309) 672-5252. Dispute resolution procedures are available with
respect to the proposed trimming activities. You also have rights of
appeal. These procedures and rights of appeal are contained on our website
-- www.cilco.com. You can also obtain
information about these procedures and appeal rights by calling
AmerenCILCO at the numbers stated above, as well as through the Consumer
Services Division of the Illinois Commerce Commission at 1-800-524-0795.
