Mary Rabish
Mary B. Rabish, 88, of Indianapolis,
Ind., died Friday (April 16, 2004) at 4 a.m. at St. Francis Hospital
in Beech Grove, Ind.
Her funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday
at Hurley Funeral Home in Mason City, with the Rev. Robert Paddack
officiating. Visitation will be one hour before the service.
Burial will be in Mason City Cemetery.
She was a homemaker.
She was born July 18, 1915, in
Petersburg to Ira Lee and Pearl Kinner Showalter. She married Samuel
Rankin.
She is survived by two sons, Gary
Rankin, address unknown, and Ronald Rankin of Indianapolis, Ind.;
three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and two sisters,
Thelma Shawgo of Greenview and Ruth Sumney, also in Illinois.
She was
preceded in death by her husband and two sisters.
Jeremy Reves
Jeremy Ian Reves, 26, of Lincoln died
Wednesday (April 14, 2004) at 7:45 a.m. at a Willard Avenue
location.
His funeral was Saturday
morning at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home, with the Rev. Darrell Garrett
officiating. Visitation was on Friday at the funeral home.
Burial is in Zion Cemetery,
Lincoln.
Mr. Reves worked in housing
construction.
He was born Nov. 19, 1977, in
Springfield to John Brett and Carol Reves.
He is survived by his mother and
his stepfather, Randall Tholen of Lincoln; his father, of New Orleans,
La.; one sister, Courtney Reves of Lincoln; and one niece, Hayleigh
Maupin of Lincoln.
He was preceded in death by his
maternal and paternal grandparents.
He graduated from Lincoln Community
High School in 1996.
He will be remembered for his smile,
sense of humor and compassion.

Mildred Simpson
Mildred M. Simpson, 78, of Beason died
Wednesday (April 14, 2004) at 5:10 p.m. at Memorial Medical Center
in Springfield.
Her funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday
at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln, with Craig Smith
officiating. Visitation will be one hour before the service.
Burial will be in Harmony Cemetery,
Beason.
She retired from AFSCME and from
Lincoln Developmental Center as a technician.
She was born March 7, 1926, in Lincoln
to Marion and Kathryn Donahue Rhoads. She married Jerry Dearl
Simpson on July 14, 1948, in Lincoln.
She is survived by two sons, Phillip
Simpson of Beason and Brett Simpson of Lincoln; three grandchildren;
six great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Ralph Rhoads of Bushnell
and Tom Rhoads of St. Charles, Mo.
She was preceded in death by two
great-grandchildren.
She was a member of First Baptist
Church.

April Bishop
April Marie Bishop, 19, of Portage,
Wis., formerly of Lincoln, died Monday (April 12, 2004) at 11:55
p.m. in Portage.
A memorial service will be at 2 p.m.
Sunday at the United Methodist Church, 206 E. 10th St. in Gibson
City. Pastor Scott Henley will officiate.
Burial will be in Mason City Cemetery
at a later date.
Miss Bishop was born June 19, 1984, in
Lincoln.
She is survived by her mother, Karen
Seaman LaRue of Pardeeville, Wis.; her father and stepmother, Mike
and Marni Bishop of Gibson City; two sisters, Rhonda (and John)
Seffron of Omaha, Neb., and Danica LaRue; one brother, Michael
Bishop Jr.; and three half sisters, Shana (and Philip) Scoggins of
Roanoke, Texas, and Jaisi and Laini Bishop of Gibson City; and her
paternal grandparents, Robert and Josephine Bishop.
She was a member of Lincoln Christian
Church.
