Website improves path to specific information about Lincoln College campuses     Send a link to a friend

[AUG. 11, 2004]  Lincoln College has introduced a new Web page design that provides the latest information about both Lincoln and Normal campus locations. The site can be found at

Natalie McGee, director of Web services, and Peter Fritz, Lincoln College Normal's director of technology, who have been working on the project for the last three months, say the update is to help improve efficiency and accessibility for those looking for specific information about both Lincoln College campus locations.

"Being a private residential college offering two very different campus settings, we decided we needed an updated look for our site to offer a comprehensive view of what Lincoln College is all about. Our site is informative and offers many options for prospective and current students, alumni, and friends of the college," McGee said.

The site introduces a pathway for both campus settings and is aimed at prospective and current students besides giving alumni the opportunity to experience the campus by using interactive maps and streaming video with virtual tours of the dormitories and classrooms.

Lincoln College President Ronald L. Schilling agrees with McGee and Fritz on the updated site. "The site provides links to answer any questions an individual might have and hopefully will attract the viewer to visit campus," Schilling said. "I am proud to say this update is as unique as the college itself and continues to be user-friendly and provides as much information without clutter."

HIP Advertising in Springfield created the design.
