N ew County Coordinator Dewey Colter
(left) is welcomed by Logan County Board Chairman Dale Voyles.
Larger population bases have incorporated full-time administrators for
years, but increasing government mandates overburden smaller municipalities
like Lincoln and Logan County.
Colter will work closely with all county officials and departments in
setting up the new office that will relieve some of the pressures. He will
look for funding to help implement unfunded mandates and the like.
