Women's mini-retreat
[AUG. 21, 2004] Immanuel Lutheran Church will host a women's mini-retreat on Saturday, Sept. 4, from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. The program for the morning will be "Music by Laurel Jean." The retreat begins with a breakfast at 8:30 a.m. The featured musician is a blind, creative pianist, singer and songwriter with a unique and joyful personality. There is no registration fee, but those attending are asked to sign up at the church by Tuesday, Aug. 31, in order that plans can be made for food and seating. Reservations will be limited to 125 people, so be sure to register early. Baby-sitting will be available only if requested when reservations are made.
