Illinois Symphony to perform in Lincoln

[AUG. 24, 2004]  Lincoln Christian College and Seminary and the Lincoln Land Concert Association will present "Salute to America," performed by the Illinois Symphony Orchestra at Lincoln Christian College's Earl C Hargrove Auditorium on Sept. 3 at 7 p.m.

The Illinois Symphony entered its 12th year in the 2004-2005 season. It is a unique organization formed by the consolidation of the Bloomington-Normal Symphony Orchestra and the Springfield Symphony Orchestra Association. Karen Lynne Deal serves as the music director and conductor.

Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital, Logan County Bank, CEFCU and State Bank of Lincoln sponsor the event.
