[JULY 31, 2004]  E. Christine Capps of Springfield, daughter of Mark and Laura Muraro of Taylorville, and Rob Deters of Middletown, son of Donna Deters of Middletown and grandson of John and Marilyn Deters of Middletown, are proud to announce their engagement.

Christine is a graduate of Arkansas State University and has a bachelor's degree in nursing. She is currently attending the University of Illinois for her master's in public health and is presently employed by Gambro as a dialysis nurse at St. John's Hospital in pringfield.

Rob graduated from Lincoln Community High School in 1997 and has a bachelor's degree in biology from the University of Illinois. He is presently employed at SIU School of Medicine as a laboratory animal care tech.

A May 21, 2005, wedding is being planned.
