The Logan County Treasurer's Office, Room 11 in the
Logan County Courthouse, and the drive-up window at the Dr. John Logan
building, 122 N. McLean St., will be open Saturday, Aug. 28, from 8:30
a.m. to noon to receive tax payments.
The second installment of real estate taxes is due Wednesday, Sept. 1,
without a penalty. Beginning on Thursday, Sept. 2, a 4½ percent penalty
will be charged on any unpaid first installment taxes, and a 1½ percent
penalty will be charged on any unpaid second installment of taxes.
Any unpaid mobile home tax is now delinquent. A penalty of $25 a month
will be charged for four months, until the cap of $100 per mobile home.
This does not include any lien fees.

Notice is given
to Lee Price and unknown heirs, devisees, legatees, executors and
administrators of Lee Price and whose name or address is not stated in the
Petition for Probate of Will and Letters Testamentary that an order was
entered by the Circuit Court of Logan County on August 11, 2004, admitting
the Will of Rosetta J. Dolson to probate.
Within 42 days
after the effective date of the original order of admission you may file a
petition with the court to require proof of the Will by testimony of the
witnesses to the Will in open court or other evidence, as provided in
Section 6-21 of the Probate Act (755 ILCS 516-21).
You also have
the right under Section 8-1 of the Probate Act (755 ILCS 5/8-1) to contest
the validity of the Will by filing a petition with the court within six
months after admission of the Will to probate.

Notice is given
of the death of Rosetta J. Dolson who died May 30, 2004. The decedent's
address was 16 Sycamore Lane, Lincoln, Illinois 62656. Letters of office
were issued on August 11, 2004, to Aimee E. Price Ravgiala of 3101
Shoreline Drive, #621, Austin, Texas 78728, as Executor of the estate of
Rosetta J. Dolson, deceased. Said Executor's attorneys are Bolen, Robinson
& Ellis, LLP, 132 South Water, Suite 330, Decatur, Illinois 62523.
Claims against
the estate may be filed in the office of the Logan County Circuit Clerk,
Logan County Courthouse, 601 Broadway Street, P.O. Box 158, Lincoln,
Illinois 62656, or with the Executor, or both, on or before March 1, 2005,
or on or before three months from the date of mailing or delivery of this
Notice as to a creditor entitled to such mailing or delivery, whichever is
later. Any claim not filed on or before that date is barred. Copies of a
claim filed with the Circuit Clerk must be mailed or delivered to the
executor and to her attorney within 10 days after it has been filed.
