Oasis update     Send a link to a friend

[DEC. 8, 2004]  The Oasis, Logan County's senior citizen center, 501 Pulaski St. in Lincoln, is open weekdays (except holidays) from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The center is also open on Friday and Sunday nights for table games. Dominic Dalpoas is the executive director. Activities are open to all Logan County senior citizens, regardless of membership.

Potluck and bingo Thursday

Join us at 11:30 a.m. Thursday for the monthly potluck lunch featuring Christmas ham, salads, special side dishes and desserts. Bring a dish to pass or a $3 donation.

The monthly lunch drawing is sponsored by Steak n Shake.

Stay for bingo games sponsored by the senior center. There will be lots of holiday fun and prizes.

Tuesday lunch

The 11:30 a.m. lunch on Dec. 14 will feature breaded pork tenderloin, potatoes, peas, bread and butter, dessert, and a soft drink for only $3.75. Ticket purchase deadline is noon Monday.

Winners announced

Larry Van Bibber was the weekday winner for pinochle. The weekend winners were Helen Opperman and Esther Will.
